Bethel College High School is located on the outskirts of the Butterworth district, specifically in the Mnquma municipality. It is approximately 7km away from Centani and occupies a vast estate owned by the church, spanning about 117 hectares. Initially established in 1917 as an Adventist Theology College, a Teacher Training College, and a High School, it later introduced a High School program in 1995, which now operates as a combined primary and secondary school, accommodating students from Grade R to 12.

Perched on a hill, the school enjoys a peaceful and secure environment, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Surrounded by the beauty of nature, students have the opportunity to engage directly with God's creation. It is within this idyllic setting that we believe academic excellence, spiritual values, and principles can be easily instilled.

Bethel College holds a significant place in both the Adventist and non-Adventist communities across the nation and even beyond the borders of South Africa. It stands as a testament to South African history and society, having produced numerous esteemed leaders who now serve in the democratic parliament of the Republic, hold high-ranking positions in the private and public sectors, and excel as independent business individuals.
